What Causes Hair Loss?

Hair loss is commonly caused by a hormonal condition known as androgenic alopecia. This occurs when hair follicles become resistant to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone responsible for triggering hair loss. While this condition cannot be reversed, hair restoration treatments like hair transplantation offer a solution by moving healthy hair follicles from areas where hair growth is still strong (typically the back and sides of the head) to thinning or balding areas.
